Residents of the RM of Rockwood, RM of Rosser, Town of Stonewall or Town of Teulon may join the Library free of charge with proof of residency. To sign up for a library card, call, email, or visit one of our branches in-person.
Library card holders’ rights and responsibilities
You are responsible for all the materials borrowed on your card and for any charges on items that are lost or damaged. (See Membership for details). Your library card provides access to licensed databases from outside the library. You may also look at our catalogue online and access your account to place holds, keep lists and renew items.
Lost cards
If you lose your library card, you are responsible for any items checked out on your card. You must report it as lost immediately. There is a $5 fee to replace a lost card.
Card renewal
Library cards expire after one year. Card renewal is free. Please contact your home Branch to renew your card and keep your information current. If you change your address or other personal information, kindly contact your home Branch and we will update your records.
Student Library Cards
With parental permission, children attending Bookmobile school stops will be issued a library card allowing them to borrow books and materials. Each child’s library card will be kept on file with us and will be physically given to the child at the end of the school year before they move on to high school.
