Friends of the Library

The Friends of the South Interlake Regional Library is a local group that supports the library through promotion, advocacy, fundraising and volunteering. The Friends were established in September 2017. To date they have successfully raised funds for the purchase of many items for our libraries including a branded outdoor canopy, helped fund the Summer Reading programs at the Stonewall and Teulon branches, a thermal laminating machine, and now have funds in hand to purchase new driver and passenger seats for the Bookmobile.

The Friends are always looking for new members. Membership dues are a form of passive fundraising that the Friends use to support programming for all ages, enhancements to the collection, and other projects as they come up. Regular email updates will keep you informed of events happening at the library. If you value your library then becoming a Friend is a great way to show your support!

Membership forms to join the Friends are available here.

Next Meeting: Thursday, November 14, 2024, 6:30 pm at the Stonewall Branch, 419 Main Street, Stonewall.

Next Used Book Drive: Stonewall Library, October 15-19 during open hours.
